What We're Looking For
Submission Categories
We cover six editorial territories — each with its own voice, angle, and appetite for original work.
Fashion features, beauty essays, style profiles, and the philosophy of dressing. We love personal angles and cultural observations over trend reports.
Personal essays, reported features, and intimate profiles about what it means to be human in a fragmented world. Vulnerability welcomed.
Travel, culture, community, friendship, and the places and moments that bind us together across difference.
Entrepreneurship stories, innovation profiles, and big ideas with a human face. We want narrative, not jargon.
Ideas, science, philosophy, and anything that makes us see the world differently. The stranger the angle, the more we lean in.
Photo essays, portraiture, fashion shoots, and documentary work. A short editorial statement is required alongside all image submissions.
How It Works
The Submission Process
Send a 100–200 word pitch outlining your idea, angle, and why it fits GlamBon. No full drafts at this stage.
Our editorial team reviews all pitches within 48 hours. If we're interested, we'll discuss angle, tone, and length with you.
Commissioned pieces are submitted as a Google Doc or plain text file. Deadline and brief will be confirmed at commission stage.
Our editors work collaboratively. You'll see and approve any significant changes before publication. Payment follows publication.
What We Love
Specific, reported details — interview sources, name places, show your work
A clear, distinct voice — we want to hear you, not a generic editorial persona
Angles that surprise — challenge assumptions, bring an unexpected frame
Passion that shows — we can tell when you genuinely care about your subject
First-person experience is welcome, especially for personal essays and travel
What We Don't Accept
Previously published work or simultaneous submissions
AI-generated or substantially AI-assisted writing — we value authentic human voice above all
Advertorial content or pieces that promote specific brands without editorial justification
Trend listicles or aggregated "best of" round-ups without original reporting
Unsolicited full manuscripts — always pitch first
